Frode Laursen nominated for CSR People Prize 2024

15. October 2024

Frode Laursen has been nominated for the CSR People Prize 2024, which is being awarded for the 25th time by the not-for-profit information centre Cabi. The award goes to companies that go out of their way to include vulnerable citizens in the labour market.

“At Frode Laursen, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to work – even those who may not quite fit into the boxes. That’s why we’re really pleased with the nomination, because first and foremost it recognises all our many employees who make an extra effort each day to support those who need it,” says Trine Bank Hansen, HR Manager at Frode Laursen.

It applies to everyone from trainees and apprentices, citizens on job trials and in flex jobs as well as seniors and those who need support in life-changing situations – and everything in between. Wherever it is, the approach is individually tailored to take into account colleagues’ particular challenges.

“At our logistics centres, people in job testing can practise going to work in a safe environment. If it goes well, we gradually transfer them to operations. In other places, it’s not possible to provide the same protection, so here we direct extra focus at organising the work according to the needs of the individual. It’s all about helping people on the edge of the labour market to get back in, and retaining those who might otherwise risk being on their way out,” Trine explains.

Taking social responsibility and helping employees into the labour market has been a focus area for management for many years. One of the ways we have done this is by allocating resources for supportive and contact persons who can provide the necessary assistance and attention in everyday life.

“Fortunately, Frode Laursen has a lot of dedicated employees who spot potential in others and who are able to realise it. So, while it has been a focus point from management, it’s mainly thanks to the committed employees at Frode Laursen that we’ve been able to succeed. They really are invaluable,” says Trine.
