The transport and logistics company Frode Laursen has entered into a three-year partnership with the Red Cross. The collaboration will be kicked off with a donation of DKK 250,000 to help children suffering the effects of war and disaster. The aid covers everything from life-saving medical help to sleeping bags and children’s packs with toys and crayons.

“I’m really delighted that we’ve made this agreement with the Red Cross. We share values based on decency, respect, inclusiveness and action, and I expect a lot from our future cooperation,” says Thomas Corneliussen, CEO, Frode Laursen.

The Red Cross is also pleased with the new agreement:

“With the donations from Frode Laursen and the company’s employees, we can support even more vulnerable people with supportive communities. It makes a real difference, and we’re delighted about this,” says Anders Ladekarl, general secretary of the Danish Red Cross.

The partnership starts in December, when Frode Laursen is replacing its Christmas presents to customers with a donation to the Red Cross. In addition, many employees give their Christmas presents each year to a good cause. Under the agreement, these donations will be made to the Red Cross over the next three years.

“At Frode Laursen, we believe it’s important to act when necessary. In partnering with the Red Cross, we’re going a step further – from one-off donations to a partnership that will develop over time,” says Thomas Corneliussen.
