Frode Laursen's Employees Ensure Christmas for Economically Struggling Families

130,000 DKK – that’s how much the employees of Frode Laursen have donated to Mødrehjælpen’s Christmas aid.

Every year, Frode Laursen employees have the option to forgo their Christmas gift and instead make a donation to a charitable organization. This year, the donation goes to Mødrehjælpen’s Christmas aid, which supports families with children facing challenging financial and social situations.

“Christmas is a special time; it should be for as many people as possible. That’s why we decided to donate to Mødrehjælpen’s Christmas aid this year,” says Trine Bank Hansen, HR Manager at Frode Laursen.

The 130,000 DKK donation provides financial assistance to 236 children/families, ensuring that the children can experience a Christmas that closely resembles that of others.

“We are very grateful that so many of Frode Laursen’s employees thought of us when choosing their Christmas gift. Their support means we can provide Christmas aid to even more families with children who are in vulnerable situations. Anyone can face hardships in life, and it’s vital that families quickly receive the support they need – not just financially, but also through tailored counseling and community-building activities,” says Ninna Thomsen, director of Mødrehjælpen.

Mødrehjælpen has been providing financial Christmas aid to vulnerable families since 2007. Over the years, more than 115,000 children have received Christmas aid. Last year, Mødrehjælpen helped 24,246 children and their families.
