Frode Laursen’s finance department has a wide range of specialist and generalist positions within three different main areas. Read more about the exciting possibilities below.


Financial Service Centre

As an employee in our Financial Service Centre, you will be working with all the classic financial tasks such as payroll, bookkeeping, accounting and tax, budgeting, cash management and finance.

It is here that the Frode Laursen Group’s financial tasks for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Poland are conducted, so you will also have ample opportunity to develop your language skills.

 

Invoicing

As an employee in Invoicing, you are responsible for your own customers. Here, you are responsible for invoicing customers and subsequently checking that invoices have been paid while also checking revenue.

 

Business control

As a Business control employee, you use the operating figures to produce reports and analyses for use in both operations and accounting. At the same time, Business control provides financial sparring for operations as well as preparing and following up on KPIs.

Challenges, responsibility and a strong sense of togetherness

Kirsten Hansen started working at Frode Laursen as a Business control trainee in 2006. After completing her training, she joined ‘Pricing’, a department which decides on pricing levels when drawing up quotations for our customers. Six years ago, she returned to the Business control department.

– Today, I’m working with calculations for optimising operations and visualising data to make the data clearer and more accessible, says Kirsten, who loves the challenges her job provides:

– I love having to find out how to use the figures in the best possible way. I have some tasks which only take half an hour to complete, while there are others that stretch over several months. In this way, my work gives me the chance to look at some things in more depth, and I always feel that I’m learning something new, says Kirsten, who also highlights the strong sense of togetherness at Frode Laursen.

– Everyone is very friendly here. There is a very relaxed atmosphere, and we often joke with one another. At the same time, however, it’s also important that you live up to the company value about taking responsibility. Because you’re given a lot of responsibility out here, and you need to be completely happy with that, she says.
